What happens in a meeting?

A regular Toastmaster's meeting has these common elements:

  • A warm welcome at the door

  • Impromptu speeches (or 'Table Topics') of one to two minutes each. These are one of the highlights of a club meeting.

  • Prepared speeches. Typically two or three 5 - 7 minute speeches in a morning.

  • Evaluation of each speech to provide learning through effective feedback. This tried and true process is unique to Toastmasters.
  • All meetings are chaired and have an agenda and a Timekeeper to help manage our time.

  • Coffee or tea break in the middle.

Our meetings 'charge you up' in the morning for a head start on the day!
